Why Lie?

All week long I’ve been talking about some of the reasons we convinced ourselves we’re not “magicians.” Believing this, we find it difficult to ever manifest what we really want.

Today I want to talk about another reason we’re not magicians. We lie. To ourselves, and to others.

Lying disconnects us with the magical reality of who we are because it disconnects us with reality. It fragments us. It fractures the integrity of our belief systems.

It’s been said that not only would Jesus not lie, he could not lie. So when he spoke, the Universe had no choice but to obey.

If you’re on the verge of lying, ask yourself, “What’s the worst that could happen if I told the truth? Is it worth giving up what I truly want?”
