Make a list of all of the situations, circumstances or relationships in which you are giving up your power. What is the emotional addiction that’s keeping you helpless? What are you trading your power for? For example, in what relationships are you pleasing others rather than speaking your truth? What is it costing you to give your power away in this way?
Choose at least one person, or circumstance, close your eyes, take a deep breath, and ask yourself, “What do I need to do to reclaim my power?”
Do you need to write a letter, ask for forgiveness, make a request, or set a boundary? Write down what you hear, then do what you’ve written down.
